I am grateful and honored to represent the people of ward 2. I love this work, and love the people of our ward and our city. In that spirit, I am running for reelection.
This last year has been the hardest Minneapolis has seen in a long time. The murder of George Floyd, the unrest and destruction that tragedy ignited, the pandemic and economic recession it caused, the ongoing housing crisis. The crises we’ve faced in 2020 have been traumatic for us all, and the impact of these crises has fallen hardest on our poor and BIPOC neighbors. But it has also shown us all something powerful: we care for each other.
I have a proven track record of bringing together people who care, to win real, concrete change. To know what we can do together, just look at what we’ve done, whether it's housing, transforming public safety, building sustainability, or many other urgent concerns.
Our work together is not done. Together, we will create a city that cares for all of us. Will you join me?

The City needs to focus on helping the least advantaged residents and workers, not wealthy and powerful businesses. Working with advocates for low-income workers and small businesses, Cam has stood up for the least powerful, and stood up to the most powerful. The work isn’t done – let’s do more together.
Everyone deserves to live a healthy life. Cam has worked with health advocates to improve health and reduce racial disparities. He's strengthened the public health department, and increased access to healthy local food. The work isn’t done – let’s do more together.
Our society is built on hundreds of years of systemic racism and white supremacy. Cam has worked with BIPOC community activists to fight institutional racism. The work isn’t done – let’s do more together.
Everyone deserves clean air and water, and we need to leave a livable climate to future generations. Cam has worked with environmental advocates to fight climate change, pollution, waste, and environmental racism. The work isn’t done – let’s do more together.
It should be safe and convenient for everyone in our city to walk, bike, and take transit. Cam has led the fight for complete streets, co-authoring the city's policy and leading the way on protected bikeways and Vision Zero. The work isn’t done – let’s do more together.
Everyone deserves to have a say in the decisions that impact their lives. Cam has worked with grassroots groups to defend and expand our democracy. The work isn’t done – let’s do more together.
