State of Minnesota Secretary of State's Office's explanation of Minnesota Same-Day Voter Registration

Use the State of Minnesota Secretary of State's Office's website to find out how you can register to vote on election day just by using your Minnesota Driver's License, by having a neighbor who is registered vouch for you, or by showing a utility bill.

This year, Minneapolis will use an election method called Ranked Choice Voting (RCV). Voters will rank their choices of candidates in order to select officeholders.
