The North Star Chapter of the Sierra Club, America's oldest, largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization, has endorsed Council Member Cam Gordon for reelection.
"Cam Gordon instills a strong sense of shared purpose, which makes him approachable and open to wide ranging ideas for greening our community," said Sierra Club Minneapolis Political Committee member Jill Boogren. "Cam has worked to remove barriers to using renewable energy, promoted a citywide energy challenge and helped advanced one of the most aggressive environmental purchasing policies in the country. Cam is thoughtful, hard working, and above all, Cam believes in bringing people together to create a truly sustainable Minneapolis."
