A delegation of elected officials from our new sister city, Najaf, Iraq, has visited Minneapolis. Cam was happy to greet them, as one of two lead sponsors of the new sister city relationship between Najaf and Minneapolis. He agrees with the Iraqi and American Reconciliation Project that this new sort of relationship between the people of the US and Iraq can help heal some of the wounds created by the US invasion and occupation, and allow us to interact in peace.
