Since being reelected in 2013, Cam has pushed for initiatives that have made Minneapolis more just, sustainable, peaceful and democratic, and to support community-based economics and development. Here are some of his accomplishments in the past three years.
Cam is running for reelection as Ward 2 Council Member. Come help kick off his campaign at a new local-food business on Lake Street, Urban Forage Winery and Cider House.
Cam is a leading voice for justice, nonviolence, grassroots democracy and ecological sustainability on the Minneapolis City Council. If you support progressive political change in Minneapolis, Cam has advocated for you.
The Council has adopted a responsible, responsive, future focused 2017 budget. Cam fought to include significant funding for community and health-based initiatives to prevent violence, better and more targeted support through a new small business office, funding for affordable housing, growing the green business matching grant program, funding for the Clean Energy Partnership and other clean energy programs, capital funding for new bikeways and sidewalks, and much more.
